MANUFACTURER’S TERMS OF LABOUR AND PARTS WARRANTY Hoshizaki Europe B.V. , including all its subsidiary branches, with its principal office at Burgemeester Stramanweg 101, Amsterdam, the Netherlands ("Hoshizaki"), warrants to the original owner/user that any commercial Hoshizaki-branded product manufactured by Hoshizaki in Europe, Japan, China, Turkey, or the USA (the "Product") shall be free from defects in material or workmanship. This warranty is applicable provided the product is installed, commissioned, used, and maintained as specified by Hoshizaki and in accordance with the relevant instruction/installation manuals supplied with the product. Hoshizaki’s obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts or assemblies, including limited labour charges, as deemed necessary by Hoshizaki. The warranty period and coverage are defined in the Price Book, which specifies the applicable terms for each product. Labour coverage is restricted to standard straight-time charges for site work and excludes all other premium or travel-related costs. Warranty Conditions To remain valid, the warranty requires that: 1. Installation & Commissioning : Must be performed in accordance with any instruction, installation and commissioning guidelines supplied with the product. 2. Maintenance & Cleaning : Must be performed in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements, by an authorized Hoshizaki distributor or service partner, or a competent technician. Failure to comply with these maintenance guidelines may void the warranty. 3. Use of Genuine Parts : Any warranty service must be performed using genuine Hoshizaki replacement parts or those approved as alternatives. Non- original parts will void the warranty. Warranty Exclusions The warranty shall not cover: • Misuse & Accidental Damage : Any failure or damage caused by misuse, accidental or malicious damage, or incorrect handling/operation, including overload or misuse of storage and refrigeration systems. • Electrical Power Supply Issues : Damage caused by loss of power, voltage fluctuations, improper wiring, or protection safety devices outside of Hoshizaki limitations. This includes damage caused by power surges, incorrect voltage, or unreliable power supply. • Cleaning & Maintenance Costs : Labour and material costs for regular cleaning and preventive maintenance (e.g., condenser cleaning, descaling). For refrigerators, this also includes cleaning of coils, condenser, or air grills. Incorrect Installation : Failure caused by incorrect installation or modification of the product by unauthorized persons or any non- compliance with the manufacturer’s installation guidelines. • Environmental Conditions : Any failure or damage caused by environmental conditions outside the product's specifications, such as improper temperature, humidity, or air flow. This includes refrigerators that are not kept within the specified operating temperature range. • Consequential Loss : Hoshizaki assumes no liability for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from product failure, including but not limited to loss of profit, inconvenience, or rental/replacement equipment. • Out-of-Hours Service : Any repairs requested outside normal working hours or on public holidays will be extra chargeable.
